You're on the right "track" when saying that you may have a claim if you have developed UTI's as a result of Actos. I don't really think a personal injury lawyer would typically be interested in taking on a case in which the only damages are resultant from getting a urinary tract infection, because although painful, a urinary tract infection is not something with huge medical bills, nor is it a chronic condition. Now, if you did develop bladder cancer or other complications as a result of your UTI's or there was any kind of additional complications from taking Actos, then you probably have a better chance of filing a valid claim against Actos' manufacturer.

The only real way for you to find out is to speak with your doctor, and your other healthcare providers about this. Then talk to a personal injury lawyer in Jacksonville because they're really going to know best whether you have a good case. Your rule of thumb is that if you have an excellent claim, there will be personal injury attorneys coming out of the woodwork to take your case. On the other hand, if you have a less solid case, there will be reluctance on the part of the injury lawyers to take your case...unless they have specific expertise that would make it very clear and simple for them to help you file the claim. So you're best off to contact a Jacksonville personal injury lawyer who will best be able to help you make this determination. Even they won't be able to know for sure of exactly what kind of chances you have of obtaining a financial settlement for your injuries, but they will be in a good position to help you.

Good luck in determining more about your potential Actos claim! And sorry about your UTI's, those can apparently be very painful!
