finding pro bono lawyer for personal injury and/or workers' compensation case

how can i go about finding a pro bono lawyer for a harassment case in the state of MD?

I was injured on the job and then when I went forward with suing the company for refusing to pay my claim, the owner has literally taken it up as his personal vendetta to harass me without ceasing. I think maybe it's time to hire an actual personal injury lawyer because they are trying their best to drag their feet. Do I need to hire a workers' compensation attorney or a personal injury attorney here in maryland? Also I need to know how I can represent myself pro se on this harassment case or find a pro bono lawyer for that.

    Thanks
    Michael

There are lots of workers' compensation lawyers listed in Maryland on the site. Just have a look in the legal directory at the top of this page by clicking on Find a Lawyer. Hope you get it all sorted out, these kinds of cases can really be a pain in the butt, best of luck!

As far as finding a pro bono attorney, most personal injury lawyers work on a contingency fee basis, meaning there fee is taken from the settlement amount.
