    Fla Tax Law

    I live in Fla and owe a tax debt to the IRS. What is the statute of limitationsfor the debt? Also, my wife bought a house. I am on the deed but not the mortage. Can the IRS put a lien on the house? Thank you for your time.

    There is no statute of limitations for the money you owe to the IRS. They can attempt to collect it whenever they want. Yes the IRS can put a deed on your house even if you are not on the mortgage.
