    forgery

My ex husband of 3 years has been breeding my dog (registered in my name) and forging my signature on purebred papers in order to sell the puppies. I discovered this because a woman contacted me demanding a refund for purchasing a sick puppy. She only has my name and number because the purebred documents are registered in my name. Can I sue him for forgery, thief, and defamation of character?

I do not think you have a cause of action for defamation but you may have one for fraud and forgery. You should consult with a local attorney if you wish to pursue civil charges. You can also pursue criminal charges by filing a police report.
