    Which option is best

Because I`m unemployed at the moment because of my record burglary charge, and now I have another charge pending which is theft. My 1st option form the Judge/Court is to serve 13 days in jail for theft and it be on my record, 2nd option is 9 months probation with fees, court cost and probation officer, and not on my record. Just going by the information I`ve given you, what in your opinion would be my best option?

It seems like option #2 is the much smarter option but this is a personal decision for you. For example, if you cannot stay out of trouble, you will violate the probation and be back in jail.

I agree with legal but for different reasons. You gotta keep your record clean as possible even if it costs you some bucks. You don't need me to tell you that a 3 time loser is in for some big time. Borrow the money, pay the fees and keep your nose clean.
