My girlfriend and I own a house and we are breaking up. We have agreed that she is going to come off the mortgage and the deed. I have to pay her but she will sign the papers at the end of the month. Things are starting to get ugly in the house because we still live together in separate rooms. She is threatening to get a PFA against me just because she thinks that she can and to make my life more difficult. What should I do?

If you wish to avoid the tension, you should move out for the time being.

Absolutely move out and have no communication with her other than written via your attorney which you will need anyway to close the buy out agreement.
