    judicial error question

    theoretically speaking, if a judge was to be going through a nasty divorce and took his anger out on defendants in his court room because of that, would that be a violation of anything?

    Judges are permitted to exhibit anger and ire. They are also supposed to do so with decorum. I think you would find it hard to prove what is going on inside a judges mind at any particular point.

    If you can show the judge acted improperly because of his personal bias, he may be disciplined and the case reassigned to another judge.
