    Government job

    Hello,

I am trying to enter the professional field as either an FBI agent or law enforcement, unfortunately due to some bad decisions in my past I am finding a hard time in even getting a chance. I am currently in school for criminal justice I have a 3.79 GPA. My question to you is how do I get the job that I really want? I am a single mother trying to support two kids. Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks
    Candice

I think you are posing some legal as well as personal questions here. Also without knowing exactly what your "bad decisions," were, it may be somewhat difficult to answer. If you have been in trouble with the law, you likely have a criminal record. Depending on what those charges were, you may be able to get your record expunged so employers will not see your previous mistakes. However, I imagine with an employer like the FBI, they will be able to access even those records that have been expunged as even expunged records are never permanently deleted. You will likely have a better chance of obtaining some type of law enforcement position somewhere locally as opposed to the FBI because of their stringent requirement.

As far as getting the job you really want: there is a concept called law of attraction. Whether you believe in it or not, it doesn't hurt to try learning about this concept and applying it to your daily life. I recommend reading a book called "the secret" to help you with this topic. If you can master the law of attraction, you can have anything you ever want.
