    My boss said he fired me for misconduct which was untrue he got mad when i asked him

    about my paycheck he yelled and belittle me in front of co-workers an customers so i was so upset i posted that i did not get paid on Facebook. And he fired me, So today i had my unemployment appeal and he said i threaten him which is untrue i did not say where i worked at or who i was talking about and all i said is that i did not get paid. So the judge ask him for evidence and he did not present any he said a co-worker told him.DID i lose I don't know how these things work i never been fired before can someone answer this question who has experience an knowledge of this sort of thing please thank you
    it was not a negative comment all i said was damn well i guess my lights will go off today cant pay them with no pay check

    At most unemployment compensation hearings, the referee will deny an employee unemployment compensation if the employees actions were in someway willful. In your situation, it does not even appear you did anything wrong. I think you should be ok. Please come back when you get the letter and post an update for us.

    being that so many people are getting fired for facebook your employer must have a handbook

    I had a similar thing happened, but I got terminated for a picture I uploaded to facebook and another employee found it offensive. Could the company even fire you for a private page ?
