    According to Code of Alabama 26-1-1, 30-4-15 & 16:

    The age of majority in Alabama is 19 years of age for an unmarried person and 18 years of age for married persons, widows or widowers. The definition of AGE OF MAJORITY is "The age when a person acquires all the rights and responsibilities of being an adult. " The rights of the parent, in the state of Alabma, are transferred to the child, when the child turns 19.
