You should contact your local BAR association and ask for a referral to a free law clinic. A law student will not be able to help you unless he is participating in a clinic with supervision of an attorney. Many lawyers do not do pro bono work so you will have to do some active work to find someone who will be willing to help you free of charge.

Topar, there are law firms who specialize in SSD claims. It sounds like you are at the final stage. There are 4 I think, the last is an appeal to a US District Court. Consult a SS law firm, they only get paid when you get paid and work on Contingency.

If your claim is upheld, you will also receive BACK Pay. The Attorney's fees come out of that.

There are many in any locality, check your phone book. Be quick in time though.

If OP is at the appeal level in Federal Court, he has likely been abandoned by any law firm.

    Thanks For the Help

Thanks for all your advice but I have done all of those things and could not get any help...
The person who said that "there is no excuse for not finding an attorney"...I have talked to over 20 attorneys from local to national over the past year, right up to posting this here...and they all said that they couldn't make enough money for there time.....since they didn't start the case.....

If you know someone who will help represent me....Please let me know....

Other wise.....I need to know where to find and example of an Plaintiff's Brief in a SSID case in Federal court....
