    Yes, New York State is a No-fault divorce state in which parties can obtain a divorce without faulting the other party, but instead by mutual consent.

    That said, there are still other considerations for you to keep in mind, such as children, support, whether the divorce is contested by one of the parties...etc.

    No its nothing like that because its a state with in the rules of United states.
