    Trial Setting Conference

How do the parties in a family law case remove a trial setting conference from the calendar? All issues which were to be discussed during this trial have since been resolved in a stipulated judgment which was filed and entered prior to the date of the hearing. Will we get in trouble if neither party appears at the TSC? This case is in San Bernardino County, California.

You can call the court clerk and let them know that it has been resolved and they may be able to assist you. Otherwise I would think you would need to file a motion/request to cancel the conference as the issues have been resolved.

    Thanks!

We actually called the court clerk and they stated that because the judge had previously set the date, they couldn't do anything about it. I've written up a letter and had the other party in the case sign it, so we will file that and hopefully get the date removed.

Good idea. Hopefully that will work.
