    Disqualifying a Biased Judge 170.6

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I have a few questions: Does the timely 10 day rule apply to ex-parte cases? The trial is not set for a few months but temporary judgement have been made in 2 ex-parte hearings.

If I had two lawyers, and now can no longer afford mine (extraordinary circumstances lead to me finding a second) can I appeal to halt the case until I am able to find new counsel?

Is the calendar for the 170.6 reset? Can my new counsel then file the motion (for the first time)?

    OR

Can I relieve my counsel because I cannot afford them any longer and then represent myself?

If I represent myself is the 170.6 calendar reset?

Can I during the same motion request a change of venue because I cannot afford to travel to the state that has jurisdiction. I and the child reside in another state and believe that because I am unable to financially afford to travel to California I am going to receive an unfair trial since my ability is limited to location, financial, and time constraint?

    Please help!

Regarding one of your questions, you can fire an attorney at any time. Whether you have money to continue paying him or not, you always have the right to fire him and to represent yourself (with very limited exceptions)
I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice.
