    Deed issue

My wifes husband died and he was the only person on the deed. His mother co signed on the mortgage, but her name is not on the deed. We pay the mortgage for her and live in the house. Who is legally aloud to kick us out if anyone? As long as we keep paying the mortgage nothing should happen should it?

We have tried to get the deed transferred but no one, including the deceaseds person mother who is the cosigner, can get the bond to complete this action. Who owns this property and can me and my wife, who dont have either of our names on the deed or Mortgage, be kicked out of this house and by who?

It depends who the property passed to when her husband died. If there was a will, the house may have been left to someone else. Without a will, it may have been divided if there are children involved, depending on the state.
I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice.
