Legalities of Foreclosure and Bank Loans and Mortgage Loans Paperwork

I have a question. I'm wondering if you have any information/help/advice for me on this situation:
We have our mortgage with BOA. We have been working with them for over a year now to refinance. We have been very cooperative and done everything they have asked. They keep switching loan officers on us. At the end of last year they told us they were giving us a 3 month trial period and if we paid on time then we would be get a new loan. We complied. We received our paper work and they told us they were sending us a notary. The notary cancelled and never showed up. Then they send us a letter saying we told them we changed our mind and didnít want to take there offer. This was not true. So we called again. Our NEW loan officer said no, that was sent out by mistake, I'm working on your papers. Then 2 wks ago we receive a refund check from a payment on trial period. Last week we received check. Now they have given us a NEW loan officer. We are getting the run around. I donít want to lose my home. We are cooperating with them. They failed on their part of the agreement. I am at a loss what to do. I was going to look for a lawyers but am clueless where to start.
Could you help me. Thank you

What city and state are you in. I offer a homeowner resource service that provides the resources you need to fight for and stay secure in your home. Do you have access to your closing documents as well as online access to the County Real Estate Deed Index?

In answer to your situation, many homeowners have discovered magically refinancing and getting a lower rate are difficult. Even with government programs available, lenders are not jumping on the bandwagon to give away what they view as potential profit vs situations they view as potential losses. No one can make force them reevaluate your situation. If you can afford a lawyer to chase them, paying off your deficiency and getting your credit back to a level you can refinance should be a no brainer.
