A "friend" has lived in my house for 1 1/2 years for free. That wasn't the agreement (no lease was ever drawn up) but I have SUCKER tattooed on my forehead. But anyway - she has not lived there in 2 months. The power & water have been turned off
for 2 months. So now she is just
using my house as a storage unit.
Refusing to get her belongings out
until I evict her. Don't mean to
sound cheap, but considering I have
not received one dime of rent - I just
do not want to spend $150 to take
out an eviction notice!! So my
question is - am I within my legal
rights to move all of her belongings
into one room (with care - treating it
as I would my own) so I can get my
    house cleaned, paint touched up,
holes patched, etc. I was going to give her written notice that she can come get her belongings when she wants to but the locks were going to be changed. How long does she have to - not be actually living there - before its considered abandonment? I live in Georgia. Thank you for your time! LEE ANN

If you are friends then you have to set him free ,if she do not give you any thing it ok in that case she also think your his friend.Other than this you can claim from her each expense share .
