    Small claims court

    My landlord still has not returned my security deposit. Can I take this matter up at a small claims court? If so, what is the process to do this?

    Yes you can take it up in small claims court. The process varies from city to city.

    You can definitely take it to small claims. You have to go to your local court and find out what papers you need to fill out and what the procedures are for serving your landlord. Be aware, though, that even if you win, there's no guarantee the landlord will actually follow through. You may still have to follow up.
